The Flower Garden School

The Flower Garden School is a home away from home for children ages 2-5. When a child feels safe and cared for, he or she can move forward with confidence to learn about the world. Our goal is to create a haven for children where they are nurtured, loved and allowed to be themselves.

Children cultivate important work habits through purposeful work like helping with food preparation, setting the table, and cleaning. Life habits are instilled when children can help prepare a snack, help put away the toys, learn to put on their coats, and tie their own shoes.

Self-initiated creative and imaginative play is the foundation for early childhood learning. The children are given ample time for indoor and outdoor play. They will have multi-sensory experiences throughout a balanced and rhythmic day which support their development.
